About Nick Cohen

The short version

I’m a filmmaker, writer, and performer whose work spans cinema, theatre, and education. My work includes feature films, television drama, and theatre productions in the UK and internationally, working with companies including the Royal National Theatre, the RSC, the BBC, and Channel 4.

Films include the feature Beginner’s Luck, which premiered at the London Film Festival and starred Julie Delpy and Steven Berkoff, and television directing following selection for the BBC Drama Directors Academy. I’ve also been Supervising Director on emerging filmmakers’ feature-length projects including London Unplugged and Twisted Tales of Love (with Kenneth Branagh) at institutions including RADA, London Film School, and MetFilm School/ The University of West London.

Current projects include the solo show Life with Oscar, the feature film The Man Who Snapped His Fingers and Brothers - a new theatre piece.
